Previous bariatric procedure
If you have had any bariatric surgery or procedure before — gastric sleeve, bypass, band, or an endoscopic sleeve — you are not a candidate for the balloon, ever. Ask us about Resculpt, our revision procedure, which may give you a second chance at weight loss.
Your expected weight loss
Expected weight loss is calculated as a percentage of your total body weight and adjusted according to your goals. No generalizations. At your complimentary consultation we work from your actual numbers — not an average someone else achieved.

A note on insurance
Insurance does not cover our year-long weight-loss system. That said, if you have commercial insurance, it may cover some of the pre-procedure testing. Let us know if you have UnitedHealthcare, Oxford, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, or Cigna — and whether you have out of-network benefits — and we'll be happy to look into what, if anything, might be covered. No promises, but we'll check for you.

What does it cost?

Do I qualify?
If your BMI is between 27 and 53, you may be a candidate for the year-long system. Above 53, ask about our Medical Rx Program. If you've had bariatric surgery before, the balloon isn't an option — but Resculpt may be.
Is insurance accepted?
Not for the year-long weight-loss system. Some pre-procedure testing may be covered by commercial plans, and our Concierge Gastroenterology services do accept insurance. We'll check what applies to you.
