A “mommy makeover” is a name used to describe a custom mix of cosmetic surgeries and may also include non-surgical procedures that can help women restore or improve the appearance and functionality, in some cases, of their bodies after pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding. Dr. Rojas personalizes each mommy makeover to meet the needs and aesthetic goals of each person, but often this customized blend includes a tummy tuck, breast augmentation or lift, liposuction, vaginal rejuvenation, etc.

This is a surgical procedure to help replace lost volume and enhance the appearance of your breasts, making them look fuller or more balanced after pregnancy, weight loss, or the aging process has caused you to lose fullness. During a breast augmentation, Dr. Rojas places either silicone or saline implants under your breast tissue or your chest muscle to restore or elevate your breasts while leaving them natural-looking.

A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgery that is done to raise and reshape sagging breasts by removing any extra skin and tightening the remaining surrounding tissue. It is often done in combination with a breast augmentation to not only restore your breasts to their proper position but to also replace lost volume, giving your breasts a more youthful appearance.

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, surgically removes loose skin and fat from the abdominal area and repairs the muscles underneath. Excessive weight gain or pregnancy can cause your muscles to stretch, tear, or separate, which affects your core strength and can cause your abdomen to protrude. Dr. Rojas tightens up these muscles and may use liposuction to help provide additional contour to make your stomach flatter and enhance your posture.

Liposuction is a surgery that targets and removes unwanted fat accumulations from different parts of the body that have not been responsive to diet and exercise alone. It is often used as a routine part of other body contouring cosmetic surgeries, like a tummy tuck, arm lift, thigh lift, etc.

Brachioplasty surgery, or more commonly known as an arm lift, is performed to remove excess skin and fat from the upper arms. This cosmetic issue is often referred to as “bat wings” because of the way the excess skin looks hanging down from the upper arms when outstretched. An arm lift gives your arms a more proportionate, sculpted, and toned-looking shape. Liposuction is often combined with an arm lift to provide the patient with the best results.

Thigh lift surgery reshapes the thighs by removing loose skin and fat to tighten and smooth the area located on the inside of the upper thigh. One of a few different techniques can be used depending on how much extra skin is present and where it is located. Inner thigh lifts are the most common and remove fat and extra skin in the area between your groin and your knee on the inside of your upper leg. An outer thigh lift is a bit trickier and takes care of the denser skin that can accumulate on the outer portion of your upper thigh.
