About Steven Batash MD
Dr. Batash completed his undergraduate degree at Columbia University. He received his M.D. from NYU School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Bellevue NYU and his gastroenterology fellowship at NYVA (NYU). In 1998, Dr. Batash was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine.
Dr. Batash is one of the first physicians in U.S. to specialize in Gastric Balloon and Endoscopic Sleeve.

Our office is conveniently located in Rego Park, a few steps away from the train station and bus stop. There is a parking garage across the street and two large shopping malls in the area.
All endoscopic procedures are performed in our State of the Art Office Based Endoscopy Center located across the hall from our main office. Our Center is equipped with the latest endoscopic equipment and fully accredited by AAAASF. We welcome you to take a look at our facility before you choose to undergo your procedure with us.
Our medical team is made up of competent and licensed professionals that assist Dr. Batash in providing excellent and safe care. All endoscopic procedures are performed by Dr. Batash with the assistance of the board certified anesthesiologist.
