BodyTite®
Advanced Skin Tightening and Contouring Without Surgery
Most people desire to look and feel their best, so they hit the gym, try to eat healthy, drink enough water, and get enough sleep, but sometimes this is not enough. Changes in your weight and the natural course of aging can cause your skin to become loose, saggy and looking crepey because it can no longer bounce back like it used to. Also, if you are like most people, you have stubborn pockets of fat that refuse to budge, regardless of what you do. Batash Aesthetics and Dr. Rojas offer the BodyTite treatment that can help put the final touches on all your efforts.
What Is BodyTite®?
BodyTite® can help tone and tighten loose, crepey skin, eliminate small pockets of unwanted fat, and act like a magic wand to enhance the contours of your body and the appearance of your skin.
The BodyTite treatment uses a technique called radio frequency assisted liposuction (RFAL) to eliminate excess fat accumulations and tighten up loose skin at the same time. This minimally invasive cosmetic procedure is performed by a plastic or cosmetic surgeon, and you can go home right afterward with very little downtime.
Dr. Rojas can reshape and enhance the contours of targeted areas and smooth and tighten the underlying tissue and the surface skin without using a scalpel or leaving behind large visible scars. BodyTite provides results that come close to undergoing surgery but without the risks or downtime of traditional liposuction.
Who Is a Candidate for BodyTite®?
Men and women who fit the following criteria may be good candidates for the BodyTite treatment.
- Have stubborn pockets of fat that have not been responsive to diet and exercise.
- Have mild to moderate issues with loose or crepey skin.
- Are in good general health and are free from serious medical issues or conditions that would prevent proper healing.
- Have realistic expectations about what the procedure can achieve (it can tighten and contour, but it is not the same as full surgery).
- Have skin that still has some elasticity so it can be effectively tightened.
- Are willing to maintain a healthy lifestyle going forward to help maintain their results.
- Are not pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant in the immediate future.
- Are close to their ideal body weight.
What Is Involved in a BodyTite Treatment?
Dr. Rojas will talk with you about products, supplements, and medications you will need to avoid for a few weeks before your procedure to reduce the risks of having complications during or after your BodyTite treatment. Things like ibuprofen, aspirin, prescription blood thinners, or certain herbal supplements can make it harder for your blood to clot and cause more severe swelling, bruising, and bleeding during and after your treatment.
Your BodyTite treatment will be customized for you and may differ slightly from the information written below, but the steps normally include:
Step 1
The targeted treatment area will be numbed with a special gel, and then local anesthesia will be administered so you will be comfortable during your procedure. Sometimes, general or twilight anesthesia may be used if the doctor is treating larger areas or more sensitive areas.
Step 2
Dr. Rojas will create tiny incisions in strategic areas that will allow him easy access to the targeted treatment areas but will also focus on careful placement to mitigate visible scarring.
Step 3
A handheld probe that contains a skinny metal wand is slid under your skin through the incisions and works in tandem with the rest of the tool, which is passing over the surface of your skin directly over the treatment area. The probe sends out radiofrequency energy that heats up and melts pockets of excess fat, and simultaneously suctions it away. The RF heat also tightens up the nearby tissue and encourages your skin to make new collagen.
Step 4
Once Dr. Rojas has finished the procedure, he will carefully close the incisions using the most appropriate method so these areas can heal with the least amount of scarring.
Treatment Areas
A BodyTite treatment can take anywhere from about 30 minutes to 3 hours and will depend on how large or small the area being treated and how many areas are being done during your session. BodyTite for the arms or neck will normally take 30 to 45 minutes and larger areas like the abdomen or thighs can take a few hours. Areas that can be treated include:
- Stomach
- Abdomen
- Back
- Bra Roll
- Arms
- Chest
- Buttocks
- Knees
- Thighs
Benefits
Recovery
Recovering after BodyTite is usually uneventful and very quick. Most people feel some mild soreness, swelling, or bruising for a few days, but this discomfort normally goes away on its own as your body heals. Dr. Rojas will give you guidance on when you can return to your full schedule, but most people can go back to work within a week. You will need to wear special compression garments to help keep the areas that were treated stable as they heal and to help cut down on bruising and swelling.
Results
After your BodyTite treatment, you can expect your body to look more sculpted and toned with smoother, tighter skin. You will see some results right away, and the rest will appear gradually over the next few months as new collagen is produced by your body to refresh the areas that were treated. If you make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain a stable weight, your results will be long lasting.
How Much Does BodyTite Cost?

The average cost of BodyTite in the U.S. currently runs between $2,600 and $4,800 per treatment area. Dr. Rojas and his team will be able to provide you with the detailed cost of your BodyTite treatment during your initial consultation and will also share information about the convenient financing options we offer.

FAQs
Most people report only feeling some mild pressure and warmth during their treatment since they are comfortably relaxed with local anesthesia and sedation. After the procedure, some people experience tenderness or tightness that feels similar to muscle soreness after a workout, but this usually fades in just a few days.
Many people combine BodyTite with procedures like Morpheus8 to reduce the appearance of deeper cosmetic imperfections like acne scars and enhance their contouring and skin tightening results.
BodyTite is considered very safe when performed by a board-certified doctor who has extensive experience performing this procedure. The most common side effects include mild bruising, swelling, or temporary numbness, but these normally resolve within a few days to a few weeks.
Most people get the results they want after only one BodyTite treatment, because it is effective in tightening skin and the fat cells that are removed are gone permanently. Depending on the size of the area you had treated and the elasticity of your skin, it may be possible that a second treatment could be used to enhance your results. Morpheus8 is an excellent follow-up treatment after BodyTite and can often tackle any remaining loose skin and residual cosmetic issues and leave your skin looking smoother, clearer, and healthier.
