About Steven Batash MD

imageDr. Batash received his B.A. from Columbia University and M.D. from NYU School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at NYU Medical Center. In 1998, Dr. Batash was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine.

He currently has admitting privileges at NYU Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital/Queens. Dr. Batash is a member of:

  • AMA
  • American College of Gastroenterology
  • Association for Bariatric Endoscopy (ABE)
  • American Society of¬†Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

Dr. Batash is focused on screening for digestive and abdominal disorders while providing a wide variety of invasive and non-invasive treatments near you. Our goal is to meet the needs of adolescents and adults in all areas of gastroenterology from colon screening to treatment of complex digestive disorders. Whether you are experiencing digestive disorder, hemorrhoidal conditions, liver disease, or abdominal pain, we will provide you with an accurate diagnosis and suggest treatment options to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Batash is one of the first physicians in the U.S. to specialize in gastric balloon placement for non-surgical weight loss. He is dedicated to medical excellence and believes in providing exceptional care with compassion and integrity.

Medical Team

Our Medical Team is made up of competent individuals that assist Dr. Batash in providing excellent patient care. We employ only Licensed Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Medical Assistants. Should you choose to have your procedure with us, it will be performed by Dr. Batash at our state of the art ambulatory surgery center-QEASC ( queensendoscopy.com).
